Beginner’s & Improver’s Knitting Workshop

Learn to knit at your own speed. Take as long as you like or, if you have some knowledge, there is no need to start at the beginning.

Enrol anytime and pay session by session. Learn to knit with an experienced tutor (nearly 60 years knitting experience and over 20 years teaching). 

You will learn:

• Casting on and off
• Knit (plain) & purl stitches
• Strategies for correcting tension issues
• Combinations of knit & purl to make popular finishes
• Increase and decrease
• Pattern reading

As you learn these skills you will be able to make one or two small projects, which will allow you to move on to making the knitted items of your choice.

Equipment and materials provided, including handouts for just £15 per workshop.
