Beginner’s & Improver’s Crochet Workshop
Learn to crochet or improve your crochet skills at your own speed. Designed as a 4-part course, but you can take as long as you like, even start part way through if you have some previous knowledge or decide what you want to learn. If you have something in particular you want to learn, please inform Yandles at time of booking to allow tutor to ensure the correct materials and handout are available on the day. Enrol anytime and pay session by session. Learn to crochet with an experienced tutor (60 years crochet experience and over 20 years in teaching). You will learn:
- Part 1 – Basic crochet stitches, strategies for tension and success in crochet in rows.
- Part 2 – Use stitches learned in workshop 1 to crochet up to 2 styles of Granny Square. Layout provided to make a Granny Square bag.
- Part 3 – Crochet flat spiral (foundation of Amigurumi) and make a circular coaster or mat.
- Part 4 – Increasing and decreasing techniques, start pattern reading. Make a mini jumper and/or triangular bunting.

You might like to have a snack or lunch before or after your workshop in Yandles cosy cafe. Why not come a few minutes earlier and buy a take-away coffee from the cafe to bring to the workshop.
