Textile Crafts 4 Home

As a member of Yeovil Creatives, I was asked to provided craft activities in 6 two hour sessions with the theme of textile crafts for home for young Ukrainian families in the town, together with Natasha Rand, YAS Engagement Director. Activities will include:

• Crochet taster
• Indian block printing
• Wet felted soap
• Macrame Christmas Gonk
• Sewn Plump Partridge
• T-shirt yarn making & t-shirt yarn bowl

Funding was obtained for this project and others by Yeovil Art Space and Yeovil4Family, under the Open Mental Health organisation. This is a private event where participants are invited by the organisers.  The participants of these events are often vulnerable, so their privacy is important.  For this reason details of the events and venues are not revealed.  However, if you have an interest in holding community event, please do not hesitate in contacting me, the grant holders or funding body.
